This work won a Best Paper Award at the 2019 International Conference on Media Retrieval — it was an honor, still being in high school and the youngest presenter there!
After I was introduced to Hindustani Classical music, I had the idea to predict the raga (analagous to a musical mode in Western classical) with deep learning. There were some interesting techniques used to overcome the low data availability in this field.
